For the past 18 years, Keya has made it her career choice to make clients look their very best by providing multi-cultural styling, chemical straightening, silk wrapping, progressive hair cuts, dimensional hair color, textured styles, and hair extensions. The techniques Keya uses are not only edgy and precise, but also capable of being maintained and easy to recreate at home.
Keya graduated from Dudley Cosmetology University in 1994 and went on to be a published stylist and make-up artist in national publications such as Hype Hair, Try it Yourself Hair, Sophistocate's Hair, Passion, Mazza, Metro Styles, Hair Etc..., and Universal Salons.com. She was also the owner of a successful salon for 10 years prior to relocating to MD.
Keya continues to seek education and growth by attending classes, seminars and trade shows. She has studied under the likes of Nick Arrojo, David Stanko, Redken, and Matrix.
While striving for excellence, Keya was also a National Educator for Influance Hair Care products. This provided her the opportunity to share her knowledge of the professional grade products, techniques, and salon savvy with other cosmetologist all over the nation.
